OUR RANGE OF PLANT SIZES

From small specimen to tall landscape definers

15-20cm

15-20

Height: 15-20cm Trunk: 1-2cm Pot: 1 LL

These tiny pomegranate seedlings are the perfect starting point for a home orchard. Grown from seed in our Spanish nursery, they have been hardened under the bright Mediterranean sun. At this size, they adapt quickly to containers on a sunny terrace or balcony. In the mild winters and hot summers of coastal Spain, they will establish fast when planted out. With regular watering during their first year, they’ll soon reward you with glossy leaves and, in a few seasons, their first bright orange flowers.

30-40cm

30-40

Height: 30-40cm Trunk: 2-3cm Pot: 3 LL

A young pomegranate ready to take off. Standing about 30 to 40 cm tall, this size is ideal for planting a low hedge or a decorative patio standard. Our nursery raises these in full ground and then pots them with a rich mix of local soil and compost, so the root ball is strong and ready for transplanting. Spanish gardens love them for their drought resistance once established; a little irrigation in the peak of August and they not only survive but thrive, producing miniature fruits even in their second year.

60-80cm

60-80

Height: 60-80cm Trunk: 4-5cm Pot: 7 LL

At this size the pomegranate has a sturdy central leader and several side branches, often already showing the first flower buds in late spring. The trunk circumference of 4 to 5 cm indicates a well-developed plant that’s been carefully pruned in our rows. In a Mediterranean climate, these thrive in poor, stony soils and laugh at the summer heat. Use them as a standalone specimen in a xeriscape design, or plant several as a fruiting screen that provides shade and snacks.

100-120cm

100-120

Height: 100-120cm Trunk: 6-7cm Pot: 15 LL

A substantial bush or small tree form, 100 to 120 cm high, with a trunk that has real presence. These pots are filled with older plants we’ve been shaping for two to three seasons. They are heavy with dark green foliage and often set fruit the same year you buy them. Ideal for immediate impact in a courtyard or as a central point in a dry garden bed. Pomegranates of this caliber are accustomed to the intense Spanish light; just give them a deep watering during extended dry spells.

150-180cm

150-180

Height: 150-180cm Trunk: 8-10cm Pot: 25 LL

A semi-mature pomegranate that resembles what you’d find in an old Andalusian farm garden. Standing up to 180 cm with a trunk circumference of 8 to 10 cm, these plants are already displaying a gnarled character. Grown in our nursery in big communal rows, they have been lifted and potted with a massive root ball. They’ll fruit heavily within a year and can handle the full force of the Spanish sun. Perfect for creating an instant orchard or a striking shade tree on a south-facing terrace.

200-250cm

200-250

Height: 200-250cm Trunk: 12-15cm Pot: 50 LL

Our largest container-grown pomegranates, reaching 2 to 2.5 meters. With a thick, weather-worn trunk of 12 to 15 cm, they are field-dug specimens that have spent years in the Spanish soil before being carefully transplanted into these big pots. A true statement plant: heavy with fruit buds and old enough to produce an abundant harvest of sweet, ruby-red arils. They require minimal care-just a sunny position and occasional deep watering-and will become a fixture in your garden for decades, even in the toughest Mediterranean conditions.

Our salvaged specimens range from multi-stemmed bushes to trained standards, ideal for immediate impact in Mediterranean and drought-tolerant landscape schemes. Glossy green foliage turns yellow in autumn before dropping, while the leathery-skinned fruit ripens in late summer, offering both visual appeal and a tart, nutritious harvest.
